One of the really cool things about owning a Sony PSP is the fact that there’s no region lock-out on games meaning you can play games from anywhere in the world on the machine, therefore I’ve finally managed, courtesy of an eBay seller in Hong Kong, managed to lay my hands on Densha de Go Go which, being a railway enthusiast, is a game I’ve been wanting to play ever since becoming a PSP owner.
The game is a train driving simulation, there are a series of these games in Japan based on different railway lines in the country, the particular edition I’ve got is for the Osaka Loop line. Don’t be put off by the fact that the game is in Japanese, an English language list of controls and instruction sheet is provided, the controls are very easy to master and the graphics are excellent, all I have to do now is get lots of practice in and time my braking better for the stations!
While this game may not be to everyone’s taste, I would definitely recommend it for any PSP owner looking for a different and quirky game for their handheld.
