The Boulton Bugle

Being a huge fan of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games I’d been waiting for a good many weeks for the mobile phone version of Guitar Hero 5 to be released and up it popped this very afternoon on my mobile provider’s portal, Planet3 and boy am I impressed with it, my first reaction to it is best mobile Guitar Hero yet, even better than World Tour Mobile and that was pretty good!
This is the first mobile Guitar Hero game to be made by GluMobile and I must say they’ve done an excellent job! The menus look fantastic and are very smooth and slick, there is the usual career mode and a practice mode too.  The game features a good selection of songs to play and a choice of Guitar, Bass or Drums.
Being the owner of a touchscreen mobile my main criticism of World Tour Mobile was that it was very tricky to play using a touchscreen as your fingers would cover up the buttons so knowing exactly the right time to play a note was a problem and using the stylus was awkward too, thankfully this is not a problem in GH5 as the buttons and notes are now a lot bigger making it very easy to play the game using a touchscreen.
Graphically the game looks as good as ever, if anything better than World Tour and is an essential download if you like games of this kind, very highly recommended!
